I have a question about setting up the XF86Config file generically. I'm not actually using ltsp, but I'm using something similar and I think this would be the best place to ask. What we have is a bunch of PCs that we're using as thin clients, we've removed the hard drives and set up a bootable CD that boots linux and runs X as an XDMCP client to a central server. The main problem we have is with the mice. We have some PCs that have serial mice, some that have PS/2 mice and some that have USB mice. I found that setting the mouse device to /dev/usbmouse seems to work even if a PS/2 mouse is used, but it doesn't work for serial mice. How does ltsp handle serial mice? Is there a good way to detect it? Right now we have two different CDs, one for serial mice and one for PS/2,USB mice, but I'd like to just have one reference CD. And the PCs with serial mice have a special industrial keyboard-mouse combo unit that we haven't found an adequate PS/2 replacement for, so we can't just replace the mice.

Thanks,
Aaron
