I have an Iwill motherboard with an on-board VIA Rhine. The VIA Rhine has never worked reliably with any kernel. Recently, with a 2.6 kernel, it was working for a few weeks and then it crapped out with lots of "malformed packet fragment" or something like that. I haven't bothered to try it again. -- A new cognitive theory of emotion, http://openheartlogic.org
