I have been trying usb gadgetry on lts terminals, scanner/card reader/usb stick etc. The general setup seems to work when the gadget is first plugged in. If subsequently removed and an attempt is made to access the device then the autofs on the server seems to be screwed, and the only way to restore order is to restart autofs and reboot the terminal. Does anyone know if there is a solution to this dilemma? Unfortunately, I have users crying out for camera/card reader/usb stick facilities and it's casting aspersions over the whole system. Is there likely to be any focus on such matters in the near future? Grateful for any pertinent response. Thanks Tom
