TIMTOWTDI // larry wall :-) Well why not use grub, it is more modern and perhaps better? and eb-5.2.5-etherboot-pci.zlilo, which has all the drivers for the supported romomatic NICs therein. (so you can use different NIC's without disturbing the boot config) Not bad value for 74Kb.
add something similar to this in /boot/grub/menu.lst title LTSP root (hd1,1) kernel /boot/eb-5.2.5-etherboot-pci.zlilo # not tried this title Windows rootnoverify (hd0,0) makeactive chainloader +1 boot then you can check it out on the commandline (without rebooting) grub> root (hd1,1) Filesystem type is reiserfs, partition type 0x83 grub> kernel eb-5.2.5-etherboot-pci.zlilo Error 1: Filename must be either an absolute pathname or blocklist grub> kernel /boot/eb-5.2.5-etherboot-pci.zlilo [Linux-zImage, setup=0x800, size=0x126c3] And as an added bonus grub can use md5 hashed passwords rather than lilo's plaintext. I suggest you install all the operating systems you want on the hard disk, configure lilo as your boot manager, and then go to rom-o-matic.net and get an lzlilo image for your NIC. Add that in as another boot option to lilo. I have a page at http://www.wizzy.org.za/article/articlestatic/14/1/2/ that might also help you.
