Where is the documentation for the smodules? i.e. what are the choices and how do you use them. Opl3 is not listed in audiolist
There is a section in the example lts.conf :- module_01 = agpgart.0 # This is for i810 video module_02 = uart401.0 module_03 = "sb.0 io-0x220 irq=5 dma=1" module_04 = opl3.0 Can someone explain what this is for and how you use it? It seems there is a relationship between these modules and the smodules But the syntax is a bit different. Eg. module_03 = "sb.0 io-0x220 irq=5 dma=1" smodule_03 = "sb io-0x220 irq=5 dma=1" the .0 is missing I have clients with many different sound cards so I would like to understand how this works. I have had a lot of trouble getting sound to work properly and even after searching far and wide for info have only found bits and pieces to help me. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Robert Bailey Sent: Monday, 25 October 2004 8:42 a.m. To: Koursk Cc: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: [Ltsp-discuss] SOUND config: Yamaha OPL3-SAx ISA card Koursk wrote: > All, > > Any idea about the SOUND config for Yamaha OPL3-SAx > (ISA sound card). > > I've tried, but didn't work, with the following > config: > > SOUND=Y > SOUND_DAEMON= esound or nasd > SMODULE_01=opl3.o > > > Regards, > Koursk MODULE_03 = "opl3sa2 io=0x370 mss_io=0x530 mpu_io=0x330 irq=5 dma=0 dma2=1" is what i use bails ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: IT Product Guide on ITManagersJournal Use IT products in your business?
