Are you trying to type use the lpr command from a tty session on a thin 
client?  If you are, that's your problem. The lpr command is not sent over to 
the client.  Unless you have a printer attached to the client, there is no need for it 
to be accessibkle on the client.  The lpr command must be 
executed on the server.
