Hi every1 ;)
I want to ask you, if there is any solution
running
(x)screensaver(s) on >>terminals after/before
users
logoff/logon.
http://www.cyberknights.com.au/doc/screensaver-for-kdm-HOWTO.phtml
might give you some directions. (Google
found this for
"kdm linux screensaver"). Seconding jef, using DPMS is much more
sensible in most
environments, but if there's real need to
remind users
they are sitting in front of a "XYZ school"
computer...
Administrivia sometimes suck ;-\
Yeah, thats the point ;) :|
Perhaps changing the background shown behind the login screen might be a simpler way to achieve the same effect? If you are using kdm, this can be configured from the KDE control center. Andrew Walbran
Hi Andrew, you are right, but I also need to "turn off feature" (DPMS?) which blanks monitors on terminals. (Maybe it is KDE, maybe BIOS).
Is there some programs, which do that? ("they press" key every 50/120sec /5min. )
