Well, the Debian packages have been made, albeit not according to the Debian policy since, as Georg suggests, it is not possible to build from source and make debs as the Debian policy dictates. So the debs are made from the binaries that the LBE produces. This is quite similar to the way Georg produced his excellent Debian packages for LTSP 3.x, I believe.
