I was planning on putting a boot disk onto the /dev/hda device of these workstations and leaving it at that. But there seems to be a lot more options now.

I could just add an entry to my existing grub/lilo configurations.
But I am thinking on some it would be simpler to just replace the drive entirely. Can I 'dd' an .iso image to get the desired effect?
