I have recently installed LTSP 4.1 with great success on Fedora Core2. It seems though that on every client, when executing an application, I have to wait for a timeout before continuing. As an example doing xterm I get:

"ws001ltsp:9200 invalid argument"

and then after about 10s xterm gives me a shell prompt. But why does this error occur? and where does "ws001ltsp" come from? If I echo $DISPLAY I get "ws001.ltsp" (note the extra dot) The terminal host name in /etc/hosts is of cause "ws001"

Any hint is greatly appreciated
Poul
