Already have it. After your earlier post today I figured I'd give up anyway until I'm back at my 2.4-kernel server (trying to set up LBE on my 2.6-kernel laptop here). All Debian, so perhaps I'll never make it work... What are the reasons that it won't compile smoothly on 2.6? Something to do with the cross-compiler not working between kernels? And the distro dependencies in general...not complaining, I'm just curious which problems you hit that made LBE behave this way. (My initial goal was to compile subfs and see how it fared with NFS. I did so on said laptop instead, and it didn't work. Which brings me to my question: Does the stock LTSP 4.1 kernel use the original Mandrake supermount, or supermount-ng(.sourceforge.net)? Latter one says NFS export "isn't supported on 2.6", which kind of brings hope about 2.4.
