Hello, Its me again, doing an LTSP 4.1 installation on fedora core 3.
I have a problem at client side bootup which reads as follows ---------------------------------------------------------- syslogd: cannot write to remote file handle on 192.168.0.1:514 ----------------------------------------------------------- I read in this list about adding -r option to syslogd startup. I have done this and still the problem persist. Looking at /var/log/messages I notice the following error to be reason. Dec 3 19:22:01 muruga portmap[1929]: warning: cannot open /etc/hosts.allow: Permission denied What could be the problem and how do i correct this.
