If you are seeing '.F?', that indicates that your dhcp server isn't passing back a 'filename' attribute.
If the Etherboot code doesn't receive a filename to load, then it ignores the response.

What should I be looking for at that point Jim? What type of filename is it trying to receive and where would I look for it? This is the first time I've heard of this problem (IIRC).
