Hi All,
Just a quick question….. I was wondering if its possible to Network boot from a PCMCIA card on a laptop? I’ve been looking through all the resources I can find and I’ve not seen PCMCIA mentioned once. Can it be done? Its an old laptop so I’d want to boot it off a floppy disc, as I do with the other work stations at the moment…….. Any pointers would be appreciated, its an Xircom RealPort RE-100 adapter.
If you go to the http://www.ltsp.org site and on to "Downloads" you'll find a Wireless section. It looks like it is still tagged LTSP v. 3, but that should not be a problem. The untarred and unzipped tarball should give you docs and an image to put on a floppy.
Thanks in advance, hope I’m not being too thick!!
Alex
