Hello all,
Having a problem with the 2.4.26-ltsp-2 kernel in LTSP 4.1. My clients have
Gigabit Intel cards that use the e1000.o module.

Under the older 2.4.24-ltsp-1 kernel during boot I get :
Running dhclient
e1000: eth0 NIC link is up 100 Full Duplex

Under the new 2.4.26-ltsp-2 kernel during boot I get:
Running dhclient on port 67
e1000: eth0 NIC link is up 100 Full Duplex

Problem is that the under the old kernel the system will continue on and start
normally but under the new kenel the process dies:
Error! Dhcpcd Failed

And then the old "tried to kill init" message.

Obviously the newer kernel isn't getting an address but the question is why?
DHCP is obviously working since the old kernel gets an address. Any suggestions
what to look at?

What does dhcpcd do differently then dhclient does?

Pete
