I am also hanging with the problem that some clients can't do the 
pivot_root...

I saw that it doesn't really depend on the NIC, but on the combination of 
NIC's in certain clients. Because one and the same nic works fine in "newer" 
clients, but won't work in older ones (HP Vectra XU, 90Mhz Dualprocessor).

I saw in this list, that this problem can be solved by limiting the block size 
for nfs requests. But I don't know how to append this...

Has anybody solved the problem by appending the 
NFSOPTS=(rsize=xxxx,wsize=xxxx)?

if yes, how does your append argument look like? do I only need the rsize, 
wsize values, or should it include all the other stuff too?
