Running ltsp over a 10mbps nic is not all that bad - in fact in majority of applications last time I tested with with ltps 3.1/slackware 8.0/10mbps nics the performance was surprisingly good.
I would not recommend a wireless link to server though - there you should look at an access point with a 1gig uplink.
