I�m facing a similar problem with a motherboard with a Via Unichrome video chipset. You can check out www.viaarena.com, which is Via�s support center. They�ve got drivers for Linux there (I�ve downloaded them but haven�t tried them yet).
My question, while we�re on the topic, is if I can use the compiled versions they�ve got there already and if so should I prefer the binaries for, say, Fedora, over those for SuSe, Mandrake, or whatever.
