Has anyone on the list played with setting user limits using ulimit and/or limit.conf under LTSP?
Occasionally I have users open a billion chat windows in firefox which sucks up all the system resources.
I have two specific questions and welcome any comments and suggestions:
1) What are the "appropriate" settings for CPU and memory?
2) What happens when the user reaches a hard limit? Does the kernel throttle the user or just start killing processes?
