Thanks for all your input. I spent the last 24 hours testing various
solutions and as I am not a Linux GURU, I settled for Xming. But I will also
add FreeNX.

The server is on line cisware.tzo.com and the username : student and the
password: student123

Please give it a try and let me know if how it goes... I might need to open
some ports on the firewall...

I read the second post the same way I did the first. Both VNC and FreeNX can
run on your windows boxes and run sessions on the Linux box
-- without LTSP. Think of FreeNX as Citrix for linux.

The second question sounds like the best option if you don't need windows.
That is where LTSP comes in.

LTSP is just a wonderfully packaged collection of technologies that already
exist in linux. It uses PXE/etherboot, dhcp, tftp, X, NFS, etc.
