Hi list and Richard,

- I'd really very much try this scenario out....

- have some tiny client network boot, just like LTSP. This client, once
booted, should then automatically fire up NX-client. This client would then
connect to the NX-server also running on the Main-LTSP-server box.

This way, one could have the usual LTSP setup - but with a VERY limited
bandwidth use!

I guess one could have NX-client running as a local app - and then autostart
it somehow. I just (damn it!) can't figure it all out.

I've tried to use PXES to make a bootable image to network load into the
clients. This image should then end in an NX-client connecting to the
main-LTSP-server. I've managed to get "pxesconfig" running on a RH9 box. This
pxesconfig programme will apearantly generate a costumized PXES boot image.

Alas, I'm too dumb to understand how - and to set it up myself. I've received
some on-line help from mr. Diego Torres Milano of the pxes project, but I'm
unable to understand the somewhat scarse documentation of the pxes project.
Or, perhaps the documentation is not scarse, it's just me not understanding
it...

Anyhow, any thoughts and comments are most appreciated!

Best regards,
Verner
