I'm a cretin. Nevermind my last email. But let me explain.
To get ltsp running on hoary I had to download dhcp3-server (rather than normal dhcp, though i can't say I know the difference). WHen I did so it copied /etc/dhcpd.conf into /etc/dhcp3/dhcpd.conf. I did not know this. I've been editing /etc/dhcpd.conf for days wondering why things were screwed up. What a bad idea. Everything is working just perfectly now.
