I have done the hot swap thing with uniflash to recover motherboards in the past with success. I wish to know what are the risk involved in using old motherboard bios (286, 386, 586) and using them in 3c905 cards socket roms. Also is not clear to me if the bios of the terminals should have an option to scan for the lan card which by then will use the bootrom and boot off, my intention is to not use the floppy disks anymore. is this dangerous, somebody here has done this, I would like to prevent burning one of my lan cards. I know that bootroms are for sale but even tho i live close to the US border my country mexico sucks big time can't send a damn cheque or money order and can't receive nothing from there, and will not touch american soil as long as the that pres is in charge. thanx __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
