Hi Jim, sorry for not outlining the details
I am a new to Linux & mailing lists I found the answer after reading the Wiki (http://wiki.ltsp.org/twiki/bin/view/Ltsp/Clients#IBM_N2200) Specifically for MS Windows Server 2003: -------------------------------------- >From command line prompt: cmd.exe (type) >netsh >dhcp server >add optiondef 211 BOOTPROTOCOL STRING then from the GUI of the MS DHCP Server - ADD 'tftp' under option 211 ------------------------------------- Only 1 problem for me though & this doesn't relate to option 211 The Linux kernel loads until: ----------------------------------------------- eth0: Media Link On 100mbps full-duplex portmap: server 192.168.0.12 not responding, timed out Root-NFS: Unable to get nfsd port number from server, using default kernel panic, VFS: unable to mount root ----------------------------------------------- I am running MS Windows Server 2003 (with DHCP & TFTP Server running) I would like to boot the PXES from http://pxes.sourceforge.net as it allows me to 'Remote Desktop' into Windows Server 2003 via RDP Do you know how I can get from loading the Linux kernel(vmlinux-2.4.19-LTSP-IBMNC) to loading the rest of PXES ??? I know that loading a PXES ONLY Bootup starts with (pxelinux.0) BUT this just gives the ERROR(unsupported file) on the N2200 Is there maybe a way to load the (pxes-1.squash) after the Linux kernel loads ??
