Yes I did it with an openmosix cluster. But there was a big Problem when using 
KDE: The work that was sdistributed to different machines did not reliably 
return to the running KDE-pprocesses thus stopping at random points. I gave 
up very fast as the weekend was over and my clients needed to work. AFAIK 
this has someting to do with openmosix not being POSIX-compatible...
