- install, if it's not allready there, CUPS on the LTSP server. Then, from the MS-boxes printout from windows using it as an internet printer. - in windows printer setup, do \\IP-OF-LTSP-BOX:631 - you may need to experiment a little as I don't recall the precise way to tell XP (?) to print using a network/internet based printer. Remember also, in cups.conf to allow people to use the printer. After doing modifs to cups.conf, remember to re-start CUPS :-) On SuSE9.3 it's "rccupsd restart" -- ------------------------------ Med venlig hilsen/Best regards Verner Kjærsgaard Open Source Academy www.os-academy.dk Denmark +45 56964223 +45 2014 5551 ------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net email is Sponsored by the Better Software Conference & EXPO September 19-22, 2005 * San Francisco, CA * Development Lifecycle Practices Agile & Plan-Driven Development * Managing Projects & Teams * Testing & QA Security * Process Improvement & Measurement * http://www.sqe.com/bsce5sf _____________________________________________________________________ Ltsp-discuss mailing list.
