You need to enable XDMCP. Please see http://wiki.ltsp.org/twiki/bin/view/Ltsp/Troubleshooting-GrayScreen > screen > On another machine i got > Probing PCI NIC > Probing isa NIC... > <sleep> This looks like Etherboot. Did you get the floppy with the right driver for the network card inside that machine? Etherboot does not seem to think so... If in doubt, boot from some live CD like Knoppix and do lspci -n to see the PCI ID of the network card (it's the "class 0200" device usually). Select the matching network card from the dropdown list of www.romomatic.net and make a new floppy. hth Anselm ------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net email is Sponsored by the Better Software Conference & EXPO September 19-22, 2005 * San Francisco, CA * Development Lifecycle Practices Agile & Plan-Driven Development * Managing Projects & Teams * Testing & QA Security * Process Improvement & Measurement * http://www.sqe.com/bsce5sf _____________________________________________________________________ Ltsp-discuss mailing list.
