This is NOT true:

owl:~ # ping tigger.home
PING tigger.home (192.168.5.254) 56(84) bytes of data.
64 bytes from tigger.home (192.168.5.254): icmp_seq=1 ttl=64 time=0.172 ms

[tigger] /home/jam [74]% ping tigger.home
PING tigger.home (192.168.5.254) 56(84) bytes of data.
64 bytes from tigger.ws (192.168.5.254): icmp_seq=1 ttl=64 time=0.061 ms
