Did this not go through the list a whle back? You need to look at /var/log/messages to see why it is hanging. Have you made sure that when user logs out all his processes are killed? Do you have any unusual load averages? Run topand keep a track. Did you check power supply? I have had issues with low wattage power supply overheating.
