Whilst installing some other software that needed entries in hosts.allow
I noticed that I had 192.168.1. as the network, the terminals have been
working perfectly for 6 months. The interesting thing is that the
network is really 192.168.9. !

It looks like the service used by LTSP don't look require hosts.allow.
