Greg ltsp server and myth server can be the same box without any ado. ltsp clients are just about unusable as myth client. IE you can't watch mythtv on a ltsp client. I did lots of work checking WHY it seems to be NFS. Fat clients work great local ring-buffer helps a bit, but it's still j-e-r-k-y local root in ram, but everything ltsp works great you need qt3-mysql and mysql client and mysql-server !!(sic) without the server it won't run, don't do any server setup, but you must have it to work (again only fiddled with SuSE) I eventully did a fat client, SuSE9.3 minimum graphics (400M) and used disk, but a complete ltsp in ram root works great too. So your sound problem is moot (sound is easy on a fat client) James ------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net email is sponsored by: Tame your development challenges with Apache's Geronimo App Server.
