Stateless Linux (as RHEL understands) is just a distro that boots off
the network to diskless terminals.
I am testing it and, I must say, the latest Fedora 4 and its
system-config-netboot tool looks pretty promising.

You install Fedora normally on harddrive, copy the whole installation to
a NFS server, do a small hack to the init scripts and here you are - you
can boot it from whichever machine without installation.

It looks nice but it is completely different approach from the LTSP -
you are running the whole distro locally on a machine that does not have
any harddrives.
Imagine you have multiple compute servers running the same or very
similar configuration. Right now, you have to install each separately
and patch separately.
In the short future, however, you will have a possibility to install it
just once and all machines will share the same installation.

You save on licenses, HW support and your time.
