Greg please give details, to list I guess would do the most good ... I have used p4-3, p4-3.2, Athlon-2.2 with 1G-ram as the ltsp server, myth server I used FC3 FC4 Suse9.3 Suse10. I have used via-600, via-1.2, celeron 2.4, duron 1G with 128-512M ram, nvidia GT6600, ATI9200, via-graphics as thin clients. I used DVICO plus, lite terrestial DVB cards and myth-0.15 and myth-0.18 Every combination was unusable on a 100M lan as a thin client (ltsp3 ltsp4). Using celeron1.7, ati-9200 graphics, 512M as a fat client gives good results. Using the 6600GT makes HDTV as opposed to SDTV almost watchable (few pixelated blocks). Same hardware used as an ltsp-client is unwatchable. So my best efforts rather seem rather at odds with your results.
