We won’t be implementing the system until January, and I think that the new version of LSTP should be out by then, which sounds like it will solve most problems associated with local drive access.  Thus, you can ignore this post…

Subject: [Ltsp-discuss] automount cleanup?

Hello,

I’m setting up a linux terminal server for the school that I work at.  Everything is working well except the local drive access (which is almost working).  I can start up my terminal, login, and successfully use all of my local devices.  However, when I log off and log back in as a different user, the automount directory still has its permissions set to the old user—thus I can’t access the local drives when logged on as the new user.  I assume that something is not working with the logout script.  Any ideas?  Thanks in advance for any help.
