Hi guys,

I have a computer I'm trying to setup. It has an onboard NIC in there (forcedeth) which doesn't work too well, so I replaced it with an rtl8139d nic. I can't turn off the onboard NIC in the BIOS, so when PXE sends the kernel and it boots, it sees the nvidia nic first ands loads the forcedeth driver, and then panics because its not plugged in.

How do I get it to see the realtek card instead and use that one? I've tried passing NIC=8139too in both pxelinux.cfg for its IP address, and in dhcpcd.conf. Neither one works. Any ideas??

Thanks,

Steve
