Hi All!
I have LTSP-4.1 installed in a Redhat-8.0 server and already got a few
thin clinets working. Recently we came across some old diskless clients
(having about 12MB RAM) used wth Novell Netware with NE2000 ISA card.
These clients can boot with RPL protocol (not same from IBM), which
unfortunatly does not work with LTSP. So I got them booting with
attaching a small harddisk and installing the bootrom (ne2000) via LILO.
Now the thin clients boots, gets its IP address (192.168.0.31) from the
server through DHCP, recognizes its card address and starts /sbin/init.
It's then, when things goes worng and booting stops with the massage
"insufficient memory...". I have stated the init level to be 3 and
allocated 32M in the lts.conf file and same amount of memory works for
other thin clients. Though booting stops, I can ping the client from any
other node.
Could you guys help me out. Regards,
- Madhurjya
