First let me apologise, I usually give better information then this. My
boss has been working on this problem since 4.2 came out. Checking
threads etc as new things are discovered. I think in sheer desperation
he may have hijacked my machine to send to the list. I will endeavour to
find out the details in full.

Edubuntu Dapper Beta2 (Workstation only, no edubuntu ltsp). I'll double
check the hardware. I know its an intel server board with 2 Xeons and 2G
ram, but as for specifics I have no idea of the top of my head. But I
will check and get back.

Dell optiplex GX1's with 64/128Mb ram
although we just got 152 Wyse winterms for £3.60 ea, were hoping to get
linux working on them soon. When we get time.

LOCAL_STORAGE = Y

the steps from
(http://wiki.ltsp.org/twiki/bin/view/Ltsp/LTSP-42-LocalDev#Troubleshooting) all
yield OK, so where to start to debug would be a great step forward, even if it
doesn't solve our problem.

Thanks to all
