Hey all! With good help from Patrick N. I have now my usb-stick (memory key) popping up when I go into shell mode
"Are you able to try a shell screen? If so you can see if the device is mounting correctly. In other words, in your lts.conf, put a line: SCREEN_01 = shell" I did this, and I get a message that is something like "New USB devise 00:7xxxx assigned adress 2. Scsi emulation for usb mass storage Model: C-one size 256.... and so on. Attached scsi removeable disk sda at SCSO 0, Id 0, Chanel 0fdslmo0" What to do next? The usb-stick does not popup in KDE on the thinclient. Anyone have a hint? I really need to get this working :) Cheers, Olaf D. -----Opprinnelig melding----- Fra: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] På vegne av Scott Balneaves Sendt: 10. mai 2006 22:16 Til: [email protected] Emne: Re: [Ltsp-discuss] - USB on thinklients On Wed, May 10, 2006 at 08:51:36AM -0500, Scott Balneaves wrote: > On Wed, May 10, 2006 at 09:52:03AM +0200, Olaf Danielsen wrote: > > Hey all! > > > > I see there is a lot of discussion about usb on the thinclients, but I have > > heard that you would > > need kernel 2.6.x to make it work. If you're NOT doing localdevices, then you can use a 2.4 kernel, but if you ARE using local device support, you'll need fuse, which means a 2.6 kernel on your server. Sorry for the confusion.
