I am very interested in this also. Both old (1g) and new Sun Ray (2) can drive 1600x1200 display through DVI, and at $249 list, Sun Ray 2 seems very attractive. It is cheaper than all but one of the clients available through my usual supplier - disklessworkstations.com. There are two problems, though: 1) Sun Ray 2 is hard to get right now (too new?): "ships within" on Sun's website says "Call Sun". 2) CPU in Sun Ray 2 is AMD Alchemy - MIPS architecture. I am not sure what CPU previous model - Sun Ray 1g - has. It'd be great if I new how to rebuild LTSP for Sun Ray 2. It'd be better if LTSP supported it out of the box. Even better if it was available through disklessworkstations.com... Jim, how likely any of this is?
