OK, then here's what you do:

run the command (as root):

mii-tool eth0

(or eth1, depending) on the server.  That will tell you what speed the
card's communicating at:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~# mii-tool eth0
eth0: negotiated 100baseTx-FD flow-control, link ok

If it says 10baseTx, then the card's aren't syncing up at 100.

By the way, please keep replies on the list, as that way they'll be
