Denis,
Did you change your dhcpd.conf file so that root points to the 4.2
directory and restart the dhcp server?
Pete Billson
Yes, extract from my dhcpd.conf :
option root-path "192.168.0.13:/opt/ltsp-4.2/i386";
host ankh {
hardware ethernet 00:C0:4F:A9:95:B6;
fixed-address 192.168.0.12;
filename "/tftpboot/lts/vmlinuz-2.6.16.1-ltsp-2";
}
My server just migrated from Ubuntu Hoary to Ubuntu Breezy, I saw a bug
in the wiki about dhcp3-server ("no free leases"), but here's what I see
in /var/log/daemon.log after dhcpd restart:
May 28 14:10:55 nadou dhcpd: Wrote 0 deleted host decls to leases file.
May 28 14:10:55 nadou dhcpd: Wrote 0 new dynamic host decls to leases file.
May 28 14:10:55 nadou dhcpd: Wrote 0 leases to leases file.
Is it a normal behaviour?
