Thanks. Actually, it hasn't been all that bad, thank God.
I've seen other people a lot tougher than me put down for three or four days from similar injuries, and I fully expected the same, too, but I never even had to take any of the pain pills they gave me, even though I chopped through the bone and took the rest of the finger almost completely off. It hurt -- don't get me wrong -- but it could have been much worse. So it has just been a mild lesson.
