Hi Gadi, I have just managed to fix it - my fault. It works exactly how you said. But still - I have to run nxclient in the background (despite the problems with the keyboard focus that you mentioned) simply because twm must be running *before* you start the session otherwise all problems with keyboard locale and repetition (normally solved thanks twm) are back.
The keyboard focus problem can be solved by clicking on the blue background and choosing "restart" to restart twm.
