(An IBM Aptiva). I have been trading out keyboards, trading out mice, change the mice settings, etc. As soon as I think I have the right setup, I reboot the machine and the "run away" keys are back again. So the earlier post about 50/50 seems to be true for me. When I swich the client to "terminal" (ctrl-alt-f2) the keys work fine. I have tried a number of things to try and isolate the problem, but there seems to be no rhyme or reason. I also checked my bios just now, and do not have an "Legacy USB" type option anywhere. I am useing a PS/2 keyboard, and (at least at the moment) a USB mouse. But have similar problems with a serial and a ps/2 mouse. The only think I can attribute the change to is the upgrade from 4.1 to 4.2 I know I plan on following this thread to see what happens. :-) Kevin -- http://gentgeen.homelinux.org ############################################################# Associate yourself with men of good quality if you esteem your own reputation; for 'tis better to be alone then in bad company. - George Washington, Rules of Civility Using Tomcat but need to do more?
