xdmcp is a protocol. your terminals sends out a request to your network 
and the servers you want people to be able to login to answers. This can 
then be used in a server chooser. You can also configure things such that 
your terminals only have on server to log in to.

We have several servers in our setup. So the bootserver runs a chooser, 
thats sends a xdmcp broadcast and from the answers provide the users with 
a list of servers.
