I gave opinion to create CDs with RW. I've never experienced any R-only 
problem. I pulled out one of my CDs to prove it, and I'm DEAD WRONG.
Sorry for the wrong advice. I must be so familiar that I do it in my sleep 
(chmod), and without noticing, and I need to rewrite my customer HowTos to 
include "fix permissions". Oooops. :-)
