Hi Jim, OK so if LTSP does not support wireless cards does that imply that FC5 doesn't also ???

So, your only hope is to boot from local media, such as cdrom, floppy or memory stick. That basically means that you'd need a knoppix cd or some other live cd to boot from. It would then need to launch the Xserver with a '-query 192.168.0.254', to give you a login screen from the LTSP server. (adjust IP address to meet your situation).
