I just wanted to let everyone know that I have tried the VNC module in LTSP 4.2 Update 2 and it works very well (Mandriva 2006 server). I followed the instructions on the wiki (http://wiki.ltsp.org/twiki/bin/view/Ltsp/VncModule) and used vncviewer to access the terminal's screen.
Be careful though, as there is _no_ indication that the session is being viewed (except for a slight slowdown in the terminal's response). Makes a great spying tool as well, I guess. If you're doing any sensitive work on a terminal, I wouldn't install it on that machine. (Hmm, I guess that brings up another security question: is there any other way a remote X session can be viewed in this way in LTSP?) John P.
