VMware gives you the ability to run multiple OS from the same server at 
the same time.  Since hardware is relatively cheap, I would suggest 
using two separate servers one for LTSP and one for Windows.  Then just 
use rdesktop to point to the Windows server.  

If you are only trying to run one application natively (i.e., 
Quickbooks), then look at win4lin.com.  It creates a VM for Windows that 
runs on Linux.  You can run Windows 2000 and XP applications with 
win4lin.  Plus if you only need one or two users to access the Windows 
system, you can get two win4lin licenses (cheaper than Windows 2003 
license).
