Jim, Thanks. He is part of the fuse group now. He wasn't earlier. Sorry. But ... it still does the same thing and only shows the one file (the light 'flashes' as if the system is being accessed).
Curiously, other accounts, whether part of the fuse group or not, show all the files on the system. I am using the K12LTSP distro with LDAP support (used David Trask's script to create the directory last year). Is there some files I can delete from his account so that this gets set up correctly (like some kind of fstab entry?) Did a directory in his home directory get created with just this file?
